Great idea having your family names like this. I hope that you don't mind but I am going to do this too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the idea :)
Go for it Sharon:)
DeleteI'm thinking of putting a little more detail such as date range and names. One day.
do you mind sharing the history about the photo of Mary Ann Howe. Mary Ann and John Brown were my g.g.g. grandparents. I follow the branch from their son John Brown who married Flora Cooper.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear from you Coral. If you search the blog you'll find a number if references to The Brown family. I can't help you any more at the moment because I'm not home but will be in touch in a month.
DeleteHi Lorraine,
ReplyDeleteI've just discovered your blog and can't wait to read more! My husband is directly descended from the Stone family in Tasmania.

Hello!
ReplyDeleteI've just discovered your blog and I'm so excited about it! I have been researching my family and just came across this blog on Ancestry. My great-great-great Grandmother was Rebecca Brown, who married Thomas Maskell.
Ebony Baker
Hello Ebony. There is quite a few blogposts here about the Brown family so I hope you get a bit of info from them. I am descended from Rebecca's sister, Martha (Taylor) Regards, Lorraine

ReplyDeleteNot sure if your interested or not but I have quite a bit of information on David Jackson (my gg grandfather) - father of Helen Jackson. I have found a reference in an inquest concerning David's second wife at Specimen Hill which makes reference to his next door neiqhbour - Robert Leed
